Keep The Light Burning

We at Response are planning a month-long “Keep the Light Burning” campaign to bring the problem of domestic violence to the awareness of our community.  In thinking about all of our community supporters, your organization came to mind; we know that without the support of agencies/organizations like yours our work would be much more difficult and less effective.

Since October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, we would like to start the month off with an awareness walk on Monday, October 2, in Woodstock at 7:00.  The walk will begin by our supporters gathering at the town gazebo, distributing electronic candles, and then we will walk through town.   We welcome and encourage any members of your organization to walk with us!

As part of this campaign, throughout the month of October we will be posting photos on our Facebook page of supporters holding our “Keep the Light Burning” poster; we would love to come to your place of business during September and take a photo of your employees/members holding this sign to show support for our mission.  Just reply to Lynn McKee at volcoor@shentel.net or call 459-5599 to set up a time for a photoshoot!

We at Response believe that domestic violence is everybody’s business; thank you in advance for helping to make our community a safer place for all!
