These workshops are all free, however, due to limited space, we do need for you to register so we have ample space for those attending. Brightening Life’s Journey: “Everything you Wanted to Know about Hospice”. Do you have questions about hospice and end-of-life care? If so, please join us for this free presentation focused on the hospice philosophy and how it can benefit you and your loved ones. Discussion will include information pertaining to hospice vs. palliative care, important facts, 10 myths regarding hospice care, appropriate signs and indicators, description of the care team & services, sources of payment and a question & answer forum. For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet, nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Alzheimer’s: Know the Signs

Presented by: Patty Fadeley

Tuesday – October 2 – 6:30-7:30pm – Historic Courthouse – Woodstock

If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection of Alzheimer’s gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. This interactive workshop features video clips of people with Alzheimer’s disease. Please register here by September 25.
