Strong Men and Women Exhibit at County Library

The Shenandoah County Library is pleased to announce it is hosting the travelling exhibit Strong Men and Women in Virginia History today through March 2, 2019.

Strong Men and Women in Virginia History is an annual program that highlights the lives of seven African American leaders from throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. These individuals have had a significant impact on their community and have struggled to address injustices the impact us all. An annual exhibit, student writing contest, and other programming related to this project is held throughout the state. The exhibition is from the Library of Virginia and is made possible with support from Dominion Energy. This free exhibit will be on display at the Shenandoah County Library now through March 2, 2019.
