During National Small Business Week, we honor the County’s entrepreneurs who take a risk on an idea, invest in our neighborhoods, and create jobs.  Small business owners exemplify the American spirit by developing new ways to provide goods and services to consumers.

We are committed to supporting our business owners so that our small businesses continue to thrive.

The County's small businesses are central to our economy. Thank you for making Shenandoah County a vibrant place to live, work, and raise families.

You're invited to join us at any or all of these events during Small Business Week:

Honoring Small Businesses Reception

The reception will honor and recognize our small business owners. Enjoy an interactive program on "Networking To Grow Your Business" presented by Christine Kriz, Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center (LFSBDC) Executive Director.

Home-based small businesses will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services in a pop-up fair. Attendees will enjoy a mini 'Taste of the County' as our restaurants and caterers have been invited to showcase their best eats.

The reception will provide a great way for members to see and experience what other members have to offer.
