It can be challenging to find healthy foods to feed yourself and your family. The Virginia Family Nutrition Program partners with local food retailers to make finding nutritious, low-cost options easier so you can Shop Smart, Eat Smart. Find more details here.

You can find healthy foods every day at Jon Henry General Store in New Market like these; Tuna Fish, Quinoa ( cereal + grain), Whole Wheat Pastas & Breads, Milk (Whole + Skim), Eggs, peanut butter, honey, and lots of fresh farm produce. Watch for his specials on hand sanitizer too.

Here's an "exercise snack" offered by Lisa Mauck, Independent Health Coach with Optavia and owner of Mauck Group International, LLC. This definitely beats mindlessly staring into the fridge. Try to do 3 "exercise snacks" a day to stay energized like walking up and down the stairs at home.
