  • Virtual

To help our community celebrate the Shenandoah County’s rich African American history, the Shenandoah County Library will be hosting the Black History Month Program “The Twenties” at 7:00PM on Thursday, February 18th.

This program will examine local African American life during the 1920s. It will include information on institutions, events, race relations, and the impact of state and national activities.

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period in which all attendees are invited to participate.

This event will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. RSVP to Archivist Zachary Hottel at zhottel@countylib.org to attend via Zoom link or watch live on the Shenandoah County Library’s Facebook page.

For more information visit countylib.org or contact Archivist Zachary Hottel at (540)984-8200 or at zhottel@countylib.org.
