Calling all Foodie Booklovers!
We are trying something new in honor of all readers out there.  Agatha Christie was the best-selling novelist of all time.  Her books have sold billions of copies.  She often used food as either the vehicle for delivering poison, or the setting in which a murder was committed.  
Recently, Cookbook author, Karen Pierce, published a new book, "Recipes for Murder". She has recreated recipes from popular Agatha Christie mysteries that were used in the stories.  

I am teaming with my friend, Dr. Diane Lending, a retired JMU professor and popular lecturer on all things, Agatha Christie.  Diane will lay the foundation about Agatha Christie and her novels.  I will follow by preparing demonstrations of dishes from popular stories. We will dine on a menu fit for Dame Christie herself!  You will go home with a reading list of Agatha Christie books to tackle, along with a file of menus to put you in the reading mood.

I promise--no poison will be delivered in this meal!  We will enjoy British classics to delight your taste buds.

  Cost is $70 per person, or $100 for a pair from the same household who only want one set of materials.  Check in with me if you wish to have this class created for book clubs or groups of reading friends!
