Americana Minifest

Aug. 16, at 6 p.m.
The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band
(Other performing artists to be announced)

Often called "the greatest front-porch blues band in the world," the Big Damn Band is led by Reverend Peyton, who’s earned a reputation as both a compelling performer and a persuasive evangelist for the rootsy, country blues style that captured his imagination early in life. Accompanied by his wife, “Washboard” Breezy Peyton, and kept on time by the deep rhythms of Jacob “The Snakob” Powell, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band will leave you clapping, stomping, and singing along at every song.

Gaelic Storm
July 19th, at 8 p.m.

This multi-national, Celtic juggernaut grows stronger with each live performance. After two decades and more than 2,000 shows, Gaelic Storm's continued success is attributed to its fanatical, diverse audience. The country-music folks adore the storytelling. The bluegrass-heads love the instrumentals. Celtic fans love Gaelic Storm's devotion to tradition. And the rockers simply relish the passion with which the band members play their instruments.

Grand Funk Railroad
American Band Tour
July 25, at 8 p.m.

Known as “The American Band,” Grand Funk laid the groundwork for groups such as Foreigner, Journey, Van Halen, and Bon Jovi with its signature hard-driving sound, soulful vocals, muscular instrumentation, and forceful pop melodies. The fact that Grand Funk’s legacy still reigns over the Classic Rock landscape for 55 years is a testament to the group’s influence and staying power. Grand Funk Railroad includes original founding members Don Brewer and Mel Schacher.

July 26 at 8 p.m.

Swing Into Victory with the LSO's Big Band to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, with the Greatest Generation’s favorite swing tunes from that historic year. Dance the night away to the sounds of swing!

Rumours - A Fleetwood Mac Tribute
Aug. 15, at 8 p.m.

For over a decade, Rumours has proven to be the most authentic live re-creation of Fleetwood Mac’s golden era. With a reverence for the legendary group's rich history, Rumours masterfully captures the magic of Fleetwood Mac’s iconic sound. From the hauntingly beautiful melodies of "Rhiannon" and “Songbird” to the electrifying energy of "Go Your Own Way," every performance is a journey through the timeless classics that defined a generation and continues to influence pop and rock music today.

The Bacon Brothers
Freestanding Tour
Aug. 30, at 7 p.m.

The Bacon Brothers -- siblings Kevin Bacon (also an A-list actor, best known for his leading role in the blockbuster movie "Footloose") and Michael Bacon (an Emmy-winning composer) -- have spent the better part of three decades exploring their own mix of folk, rock, soul, and country music. They call that diverse sound "forosoco," and it's taken them around the world, from headlining gigs in Japan to American performances at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry and Gruene Hall.

Shenandoah
Aug. 31, at 7 p.m.

Known for hits  "She Doesn't Cry Anymore," "Mama Knows," "Church on Cumberland Road," and "Sunday in the South," Shenandoah has become known for delivering songs that celebrate the importance of faith and family while reveling in the joys of small town life. Other hits include "Next to You, Next to Me," which topped the charts for three weeks, and "Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart," a beautiful duet with Alison Krauss that won a Country Music Association Award for Vocal Event of the Year and a Grammy for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
